Home / Building Stuff / Bookshelf/cabinet 34
This is a bookshelf made from Oak to give my mom for Christmas. It will probably do best with 1 shelf based on the height, but I'm making 2 in case she wants to use it. It will be 33.5" tall and will have 2 glass doors on the front.

- A sheet of oak plywood. It will take about 4x5 feet of this to build the cabinet.
- Assorted boards to be used to build the non-plyboard parts
- All the boards are cut. I had a slight issue with one of the shelves so I'll have to cut a new one later.
- Applying the iron-on veneer to the visible ends of the plywood pieces.
- Veneer is on one board and trimmed up.
- Licorice
- Boards are cut, drilled, biscuited, dry fitted, and sanded. This is the inside of one of the sides.
